Sorry for lack of updates! It has been busy. Our chicken run needs repaired after the storm. The ducks are being moved into a grassier area with our old raised garden bed. (which they love) BUT!!!! WE HAVE MORE QUAIL HATCHING AND BARNYARD CHICKS! OUR QUAIL ARE GIVING US QUAIL EGGS AS WELL!

I will have quail eggs looking for a new fridge and stomach at the swap on july 22nd in madison indiana! Maybe even a few Crested ducks! (Drakes) Depending on the weather I may even bring one so children can pet them. I will post photos soon of all the birds as well so you can see how much growth they have had.

Meet Gomez our new Black East Indie (call) duck. He is full grown!

We bought him as well as 2 Cayuga ducklings (pugsley and Wednesday) sold our extra Roosters and it has calmed the coop a lot on the chicken side!

Our Rouen Jim was seen being a “gentleman” to his favorite lady Betty for the first time. That means they are almost ready to lay eggs! Male Quail are making mating calls. Only a matter ⏱️

Weather permitting we will be at the madison animal swap meet this weekend with 3 of our roos! 2 Gold laced Wyandotte Roosters and an Onyx Maran Rooster. All three are 17 weeks old and gentle. They are real gentlemen. Hoping by the swap in July I will have some eggs from my Quail, chickens, and ducks.
