LaPlatte River Angus Farm

LaPlatte River Angus Farm In 1974, the Kleptz family purchased its first Black Angus as a family hobby. With three cows and ten acres, the LaPlatte River Angus Farm was started.

The Farm has grown to be the largest Registered Black Angus herd in New England. The Kleptz’s manage 600 acres of pasture and cropland in the scenic Champlain Valley of Vermont. NO HORMONES
USDA Approved Natural Beef (Raised Without Growth Hormones or Growth Stimulants)

NO ANTIBIOTICS
Antibiotics are used on individual basis, only to reduce suffering and pain. Antibiotics are NOT used in dail

y feed ration. HIGHEST QUALITY NATURAL BEEF AVAILABLE
Superior natural flavor and tenderness achieved through genetics, low stress, quality feed, and careful handling of animals. Every beef carcass is quality inspected by Laplatte River Angus. NO ARTIFICIAL INGREDIENTS
Grain is custom blended without the use of animal by-products. (Animal by-products are a direct relation to MAD COW DISEASE.) The grain is a special blend of Vermont whole corn, with added vitamins and minerals. PROTECT AND PRESERVE THE ENVIRONMENT
Corn crops are rotated every two years to prevent soil erosion, nitrogen depletion, and loss of humus material. Manure is composted to reduce weight, smell and volume. This, in turn, reduces time, expense, runoff, and soil compaction.
