While our crops are out in the orchard soaking in the sun and sweetening up, we’re busy behind the scenes planning an incredible fall season!

We’re especially excited to debut a very limited crop of two brand new varieties this year! Both are a cross between a Fuji and Honeycrisp, their difference is when they ripen on the tree: Summerset will be ready early-to-mid Sept and the ultra-crunchy, juicy EverCrisp will be ready mid-to-late Oct!🍎🍏

We are tentatively planning to open late August, and our lineup is ALREADY packed! Here is a sneak peek of what’s in store at the orchard this fall:

🍔 September 13th: Stormy’s Grilled Cheese Food Truck
🎈 September 19th: The ultra creative Balloon Artist Neil the Real Deal PLUS a family fun petting zoo!
🪕 September 26th: Live music with Grandpas Elixir Stringband
🚚 September 27th: A&B Acai Food Truck
🚜 Tractor rides, treats, and tons of other fun activities are still being planned!

Yes, you read that right an Apple Crisp Competition! Do you think you have what it takes to become the favorite apple crisp baker? Stay tuned! All the contest details will be revealed shortly on our page! 🎉

A huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to the amazing crew who came out to help us thin the trees this year! It is hard, tedious work, but it's so crucial to ensure the branches aren't overloaded and that our apples can grow to be big (fingers crossed), beautiful, and absolutely delicious. We couldn’t do this without your hard work and support! 🍎❤️

It is hard to believe that we will be approaching fall and picking apples in just a short 6(ish) weeks! 🚜🍂 Time is moving fast, and we are already getting everything ready for a fantastic fall season!

As we head into the holiday weekend, we want to wish everyone a very happy, healthy, and safe 4th of July! Enjoy the fireworks, family, and good food.🎇🎆✨

We are looking forward to seeing everyone back at the farm very soon!

🍎🍂 The countdown is officially on at Hawk's Orchard and Farm! 🍏🎃

​We are just a little over 100 days away from opening for the Fall 2026 season, and the farm is busy now that the temperatures are finally starting to cooperate. 🌤️

​The fruit has officially set and the apples are growing and making the most of this weather. They’re small right now, but they’ll be crisp, juicy and ready to go for opening day!

​Meanwhile, the tractor is out turning over the soil, getting the ground prepped to plant this year's pumpkin patch. (With Lilly keeping a close eye on the progress from the cab, of course! 🐾🚜)

We're putting in the hard work now to make sure everything is ready for opening day. We can't wait to welcome you back for Fresh Apples, Apple Cider Donuts, Homemade Apple Pies, Pumpkins, Fresh Cider and don't forget the delicious Loaded Slushie!😋

☀️ Sun’s out, shears are away! ☀️
We are finished pruning means the countdown to bloom is officially ON! We’ve been out here since February braving the late winter chill to get every single branch just right, and wrapping up under this gorgeous sun was absolutely perfect.

I have to give a huge shoutout to our favorite furry family helpers! Having them join us in the orchard always makes the work so much more fun!

Here are our beloved Macoun apples. Take a look at the before-and-after of our thinning process! 😲 Pruning is an essential step to ensure that each apple gets enough nutrients and sunshine to grow large, crisp, and perfectly flavorful.

Who are our big Macoun apple fans out there? We are crossing our fingers and toes hoping for a much better crop of these beauties this year! 🍎

We are officially going to be on "blossom watch" now, just waiting for those tiny buds to wake up and turn the entire orchard into a sea of white! Stay tuned for more updates as the orchard wakes up!

Sun’s out, shears out! ☀️✂️

While the trees are still catching their winter Z’s, we’re out here fueled by coffee and dreams of a crisp fall harvest! 🍎✨

Winter pruning might look like a lot of "twig-wrangling," but it’s actually the secret sauce to our best fruit. By giving the trees a little haircut now, we’re making sure every branch gets the perfect amount of sunlight and energy to grow those big, juicy apples you love come autumn.

It’s chilly work, but seeing these rows get ready for action makes it all worth it. We’re officially counting down the days until the orchard is full of fruit (and you guys!).
