I'd like to introduce to you my alter ego, Steely Ron. Long story short, back in early January my wine supplier Tap 26 decided to close permanently. When I started my business I used his name since it was already known and I kinda liked it. When he closed I scrambled to find a new supplier and decided to change my DBA name at the same time. I'm still Tap 26 Delaware LLC but on the street I'm now Steely Ron Wine Distributors. Steely being a nickname from childhood and it's also a wine term describing a dry high acidic white wine. I was also a big fan of the Steely Dan band in the 70's so it all kind of fit and is a fun, not your average wine distributor name. I'm still mostly keg wine on tap but offer a few bottle selections for some restaurants that requested them. Thanks to Ad Art in Georgetown for the new van graphics.
