Hand-selected exclusively for Liquor Outlet & The Rare Spirits, this 1792 Single Barrel is one we’re especially excited to share.

The first thing that grabbed us? Vanilla wafers.

👃 NOSE: A beautiful rush of vanilla wafers, sweet caramel and toasted oak, with a warm bakery-like sweetness.

🥃 PALATE: Rich and full-bodied, with vanilla wafers taking center stage, followed by creamy caramel, butterscotch, baking spice and toasted oak.

🔥 FINISH: Warm, smooth and lingering, with that sweet vanilla character hanging around beautifully.

If you know anything about founder Drew Black and the team at Circle City, you know they have an absolute radar for sourcing legendary barrels. But when we tasted this specific 13-year-old high-proof rye, we knew it was a "stop what you’re doing" kind of bottle.

🥃 The Liquid Inside

This isn't your average everyday rye. This is hyper-aged, high-proof, unfiltered luxury in a glass. Coming from the famous 95% rye, 5% malted barley mashbill, over thirteen years in heavy-char oak has completely transformed the liquid. The aggressive, punchy "dill and grass" notes of a young rye have vanished, replaced by a deep, dark, and oily complexity that will make bourbon lovers and rye purists completely lose their minds.

The Nose: Immediate, creamy mint chocolate chip ice cream, followed by rich pumpernickel bread and a subtle, mature lemon candy sweetness.

The Palate: Thick, oily, and massively coats the mouth. You'll get hit with deep cherry candy, dried stone fruits, and a refreshing burst of mint-infused lemonade.

The Finish: A long, slow-burning, epic dry finish packed with sweet spearmint, honey, toasted oak, and lingering holiday baking spices.
