Meet Applejack! Applejack came with Tito the sheep from ! He’s a little schister, and loves to eat the clothing that is on your body, butt heads with Bella, and generally try to think he’s in charge, though he’s most definitely not. He loves treats, belly rubs and neck scratches, and all humans. If you come to the farm, Applejack will most definitely greet you and beg for treats. Thank you for these amazing photos.

Meet Tito! Tito is our one and only sheep (for now), from . He joined the crew right away in November to give Bella, the lonely goat some company. Hr came along with Applejack, the goat. Tito is the leader of the trio (now a group of four). When Bella and applejack are butting heads , not only does Tito break up the fight but he also holds peace circles afterwards. Tito likes to stomp his right foot when he doesn’t like what’s happening and also has makes the most terrifying noises that scare the crap out of you at night. He’s a real sweetheart, and Love scratches and the kids. Thank you for the amazing photos.

Today was a very FULL day. Soccer all morning, and then lots of new animals that joined our farm today! We are grateful for the families entrusting us to raised their loved animals as they venture on to new things. Today we welcomed Luna and Sunny-two beautiful livestock guardian dogs-the kids are in love with already! We also welcomed Smurfette, the turkey and lots of new laying hens. And we also welcomed Pebbles, a Nigerian Dwarf Goat, she’s already a little stinker but hopefully will bond soon with Bella, our other Nigerian dwarf goat. We are pooped, but oh so happy and blessed. Can’t wait for our friends and family to meet them all.

Harriet has really gotten into farm chores, and feeding the animals (though she’s scared of them), is her favorite chore. When I told her daddy was going outside to feed the animals, she put on her shoes and ran out to go get the llama buckets.

Hey friends!

We are looking for multiple play houses to create a play village at my farm for open community play! Just using stock photos from internet , we are open to all different sizes, shapes and kinds.
Or if you want to support and purchase one, multiple different stores have them for shipping and we can send you our address.

Let me know if anyone has any they are willing to part with. Aesthetic fixer uppers also would work as they will all be getting a makeover for our play village!

Mornings like this are beautiful. I love that the girls are living their best lives here at the farm, and likely both will have their first memories be of this place. This is a goal we’ve had for all of our children. But like most people, we didn’t have a means to make it happen until now.

We wouldn’t have even been able to be here today if not for all of the support from you and for through the program. We’ve spoken about this amazing program in the past, but it is vital to repeat the call.

This program helps to put on the land before they can even be considered for financing to buy a farm in the traditional market. And then it helps to stabilize those farmers biz plans so that they are attractive to places like the farm service agency-the place most working farms usually go to for capital. But more than just that, AFT puts a conservation easement on the property.

This functions to drastically cut the overall “cost” of the farm meaning that the farmer buys the place back from AFT for much less than it was originally purchased for. It also removes the ability for that land to be developed into a subdivision or anything like that. This protects farmland forever AND protects the land from development pressure. Residential or commercial(subdivisions, HOA’s, data centers... )

Like most things that were good for the people, this program was completely defunded as soon as this administration came into power. So the call to action is simple: find places like AFT and the buy protect sell program and support them in any way you can. It could mean that many more dreams like the one we are living today can be possible for more of us that don’t have the of having generational wealth or land already in the family.

With that said. Get out there and touch some grass today, it’s nice out here!!

Meet Emmit. One of our two . Emmit is in his late teens or 20’s and he’s a… character. While gentle, he is a stubborn old man and as one in the making myself, I feel him 😅.

While adorable, he does have sore feet and due to some hoof issues that are likely lifelong, we will never ride him. So he is here at the farm just for the vibes and we wouldn’t have it any other way (unless he didn’t have the foot issue and if he was younger and not cranky. But other than that) because he is just about perfect the way he is😉.

He loves treats, hates to have his feet worked on and HATES that I try to apply fly spray on him.

Stop by on one of our farm field days and say hi to the cranky old man (the pony I mean)
