Working this event was absolutely amazing, but the best part of it all was working alongside my son.
He handled the entire day with so much grace. There were moments when I was nervous, overwhelmed, and almost in tears—okay, there may have been a little trickle. 😂 But every time, he was right there helping me pull myself back together.
What made me most proud was realizing that I didn’t have to be there every second or tell him what to do. He already knew. He knew my setup, my expectations, and the level of professionalism that Delectables By Donna represents.
As a mother and a business owner, that moment meant more to me than I can put into words. Watching my son step up, take charge, and carry himself with confidence showed me that he has been paying attention all along.
