We are seeking up to two part-time folks to work one to two days per week (8-20hrs/week) as our farmer’s market vendors in Milwaukie and Vancouver. Our farmer’s markets are vibrant, exciting social spaces and the highlight of the season for most of us at Quackenbush Farm! If you like talking to people, care about local, sustainable agriculture, and are fast and efficient at helping customers, we’d love for you to apply.
Primary Duties:
Set-up and take-down market booth, create beautiful displays of produce.
Interact with customers, answer questions, be knowledgeable about the produce we grow and sell.
Keep track of inventory, manage sales, restock inventory.
Qualifications
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent ability to multi-task and function in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly, handle heavy market supplies.
Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
A personal interest in sustainable agriculture and good food.
