McPherson Showpig’s last pig showman has graduated high school! Caylee will be attending Oklahoma State University pursuing a degree in Veterinarian medicine. Chasen is starting on year three of Graduate school at University of Arkansas. He is working on obtaining a Doctorate degree in Physics.

This has been a difficult decision that we prayed long and hard over. We decided to disperse all of Caylee’s sows to several breeders listed below. These breeders have several litters on the ground. There are several of these litters that are sired by our new boar Ready For it.
Ready For It was intended to be Caylee’s Tulsa Barrow 2024. Caylee thinking about the future decided to keep him as a boar. Ready For It is a Head Start x Droppin Sets x Black Mamba son. His mother Polly was the 5th overall Poland gilt at Tulsa State Fair in 2022. Polly raised the Champion Poland Gilt open show Texas State fair 2023, Reserve Champion Poland gilt at the American Royal 2023. The forth overall Poland barrow OYE 2024.

Ready For It grandmother Angelica raised the Bronze gilt Louisville 2023, Reserve Champion Gilt Maryland State fair 2023, Reserve Breed Champion gilt OYE 2024. She is also the mother of Bama Breeze that sired the Breed Champion Poland barrow Tulsa State Fair 2024.

We would like to say Thank you to all of our loyal feeders over the years of McPherson Showpigs. You have played a special part in the sucess of both Caylee and Chasens swine programs! We could not have done this without your dedication and loyalty. Thank you for trusting our genetics. Most importantly thank you for your all the memories abd your friendship!
