Friday afternoon our shop started on fire. It’s a day I wouldn’t wish upon anyone.
Even with being cautious things can happen in a blink of an eye. No one was hurt, but the damage is devastating.
We would like to thank the 5 fire departments that came to the rescue- Sherman, Bingham, Harbor Beach, Minden and Delaware. You guys all volunteer your time and energy. Your efforts don’t go unnoticed! We appreciate everything you did!
Thank you to all the neighbors that came and helped! Living in a small community we know we can always count on each other in hard times.

P. S. Please consider that this is still our farm and a home. Trespassing is still trespassing regardless of what’s going on.

Finished up harvest last night!
Feels good to have all the beets finished with the rainy fall weather that came today.

Happy Harvest!
We are on day 4 of sugar beet permanent pile and🤞🏻 the last day of corn harvest.

The weather has been favorable with sunshine but not too much heat that we would have to stop piling beets (the beet temp has to be below 53 degree to store well).

Please remember to be safe on the roads and enjoy living in rural America. 🇺🇸
