Good afternoon everyone! I’m writing this post today to see if anybody can help us find a loving home for this sweet, loving girl. Her name is Sadie and she loves to run and She’s full of energy. My mother got her before moving back to the farm and she just can’t give her the attention that she needs. Like I said she has high energy and she needs more constant attention and training than what my parents are able to give. We are also busy with farm work and a house remodel that she’s not getting the attention she deserves. My wife and I have too many animals as it is along with our three kids so our house is too full to take her in. She would make an excellent Farm dog or with proper training, she would be the perfect addition to someone’s family. She has never shown any signs of aggression and she has always been very loving. We still have lots of straw bales available if anyone is looking for some for winter. They are $6 each. Also if anyone is looking for some sunflower seeds please get a hold of my brother Anson. He has quite a bit available.

Today officially marks the last day of the pumpkin patch season. We got everything cleaned up and all the decorations tore down and all of the activities put away until next year. The cows will soon roam the pumpkin patch and clean up the remaining pumpkins that sit in the field. Thank you to everyone that came out to see us this year whether you came during the week or you ventured out to see us during one of our windy weekends. We appreciate every single one of you! thank you to everyone that participated in the painting raffle. We had a pretty decent turnout and it was a great way to get the artist name out there. We hope everybody enjoys their paintings. We hope everyone enjoys themselves when they come out here and we love to see people having fun. we hope to continue doing this for many years to come. We hope you have an amazing rest of your year and we look forward to seeing you all next fall but before next pumpkin season, we hope to see you for sweet corn next july. Once again thank you! Without our amazing customers we would not be able to do this every year.

Good morning! For the rest of the week, everything in the pumpkin patch will be 50% off. There is still lots of squash out there. If you need producer for your animals there’s still lots of it available. I will be picking up everything and putting all the patch stuff away this weekend. So if you need to come out and get anything you have until the end of the day Sunday to do so. If you would like to come and get truckloads of produce, you may do so. A truckload of squash will be $30 and a truckload of Pumpkins will be $50. We still have lots of Straw bales available as well. please let me know if you have any questions. My number is 3088303870

Good morning everyone! This weekend October 25th and 26th will be our last weekend that our concession stand and corn pit will be open. It is also the last weekend for the raffle drawing for the fall paintings. It’s going to be a little bit colder out this weekend so if you decide to venture out to see us, make sure to wear your coats, gloves and beanies. Nearly 30 years of Minden East Elementary coming out to the patch for a yearly field trip. Every child gets to pick a pumpkin to take home with the help of the teachers and volunteers. If they can carry it, they get to take it! 🎃 It's so fun to see all the kids excited about their picks. It's one of the highlights of our season. My parents, Tamy and Dave Nielsen started this tradition and we look forward to carrying it on for many more years to come. 🧡
We have two more weekends left in October, so come out and see us! 🍂 Concessions and cornpit open 9-5 Saturday and Sunday! We have two paintings left to raffle, so stop in the snack shed to take a peek and fill out some raffles if you'd like! All proceeds are going to Bethany Luthern Church ⛪️ here in Minden. We are looking forward to another awesome weekend!

Today i am walking through the patch just seeing how things are looking and I come across a pumpkin. This pumpkin has great skin, It’s solid with no soft spots and looks like it would have been a really nice addition to somebody’s front porch. But the biggest thing that stood out to me was the cuts and abrasions around the pumpkin. These cuts are specifically from cutters or clippers. (most of the time). If you are out here and you see somebody doing this, please let me know. I cannot sell pumpkins that look like this. Just walking through the sections and noticing that there are quite a few pumpkins still good and ready to be picked. There are quite a few out here that have bad skin or are rotten but there are still lots and lots of good ones. The edges of some sections have been picked pretty good but the farther you walk into the center of every section The better the pumpkins look and get. Thank you to everyone who has came to visit us so far this year if you haven’t had a chance that’s OK. We still have two more weekends of our concession stand and we still have lots of produce waiting to be picked. We look forward to seeing everybody this weekend. 🫶🫶

Good evening! We did get a little bit of rain last night and this morning, but the wind picked up really quick and the roads to the pumpkin patch are dry. We are open seven days a week from sun up to sundown for Pumpkin picking. Saturdays and Sundays in October from 9 AM to 5 PM. We have free concessions. We also have basketball,pup putt golf ,Pedal Cars ,co****le ,ring toss ,a corn pit and a playground for everyone to enjoy. There are lots of pumpkins and squash still left out in the patch so what are you waiting for? Come on down and see us! If you have any questions or need any help, please give me a call. Good afternoon everyone! Today, Thursday, October 9th I am opening the pumpkin patch to the public. There are a couple roads that are still kind of soft or have a little bit of water on them, but for the most part, the roads are dry enough for cars to drive on. Just use caution when driving down the road that looks a little wet. The pumpkin patch is open seven days a week from sun up to sundown for pumpkin picking. We will be open this Saturday and Sunday our normal hours along with our concession stand and corn pit being open from 9 AM to 5 PM. We will still be selling raffle tickets for the fall paintings that you will see inside the snack shack. It’s looking like we are gonna have beautiful weather the rest of this week and weekend so come on out and see us.
