Well, we ALMOST had our first CSA delivery today. Our Van broke down en route to deliver 100 CSA boxes to our IL members.

Thankfully Z was able to pull over safely before the van completely came to a stop!

Definitely not the start we had hoped for this season, but here’s hoping we’re just getting the really tough days over with at the beginning 🥴.

If there is one thing farming continues to teach us it’s how to be adaptable.

If anyone in the WI/IL area has a good recommendation for a refrigerated van rental let us know! We’re on the look out for one for next week.

We heard our Farm Share members request for beans and we listened! We have multiple plantings of beans going in a couple of our greenhouses this season.

We chose to go with pole beans in the greenhouses to make trellising a little easier, along with less back ache when it comes time to harvest!
