I’ve thought about sharing this part of my life for a long time, and honestly, I never really knew how to put it into words.
I’ve had a lot of different chapters in my life. Some I’m really grateful for, some taught me some hard lessons, and some are things I probably wouldn’t choose again.
But I don’t hate those chapters. They’re part of me. They taught me things, and they helped shape who I am today.
For a long time, I looked for love, attention, validation, money, and a sense of worth in places that could never really give me what I was looking for.
And the whole time, God was there.
He’s been calling me toward Him for years, and I’m finally learning to stop trying to do everything my own way and actually listen.
I’m not sharing this because I have everything figured out. I don’t. I’m still learning, still messing up, and still trying to become the woman God wants me to be.
But if even one girl watches this and sees a little bit of herself in my story, I want her to know something:
You are worthy. You are important. You are loved.
You don’t have to earn your worth. You don’t have to chase attention or validation. And you don’t have to stay in a chapter just because you’ve been there for a long time.
The Lord knew exactly when I needed Him, and I’m so thankful He never stopped calling me.
I’m proud of who I am today. And I’m grateful for every chapter that brought me here 🙏🏼 even the ones I wouldn’t choose again. 🤍
If this helps even one girl realize she’s worth more than what she’s been settling for, then sharing my story was worth it. 🙏🏼
