This week’s harvest of peas was a really nice one. So gorgeous and crisp! Come see us at this Saturday’s Mineral Farmer's Market and pick up a bag for stirfry or just snacking on! (We will also have a couple of bags of English peas, which you might score if you get to the market early!)

We got rain! I hope you did, too! (Well, maybe not the wind that we got with the rain, but you know what I mean.)

Saturday at the Mineral Farmer's Market will be “damp,” but we will be there! I have a lovely first picking of peas, both English peas and snow peas, and the last radishes to offer you, as well as the first of the larger pak choi and some lovely tender swiss chard. And if you’re just getting in the planting mood, or need some tomatoes, peppers, or herbs to fill in the gaps in your garden, we’ve got you covered. Slip on your wellies and come on out!

The plant sale continues this week—if you planted too early and your tomatoes are looking poorly, I have replacements for you! We will have the last of the spring kale and salad mix as those beds will soon be transitioning over to summer crops. Carrots and peas are on the horizon!

Some of the items you will find at our table at this Saturday’s opening day of the Mineral Farmer's Market: gorgeous heads of tiny pak choi and big, beautiful lettuce. Spring doesn’t care that it might rain on us—we need that rain! In return, Spring gives us produce like these gems.
