Maple Knoll Farm

Maple Knoll Farm Owned and operated by Eric Klippel. We sell only 100% pure New York Maple Syrup products. It all started about 35 years ago.

A few taps in the back yard and a flat pan on an open fire pit began the maple syrup tradition for the Klippel's. After only a couple of years the decision was made to go into the woods and build our first sugar house. With the help of Bob Culver, Eric's first sugaring partner they completed the build and began production in 1985, with around 150 taps. The operation expanded up to 600 taps, and th

e team continued working together until 1998. Eric bought the land for Maple Knoll Farm in 2005 and began designing and building the sugaring operation. Lumber milled from trees on the land was used to build the sugar house. In 2008 we started producing syrup and have been growing annually ever since; currently up to about 1,900 taps now on the farm.

After almost 40 years of maple sugaring we have made the difficult decision to close our doors at Maple Knoll Farm. Sugaring has always been much more than just a business for us - it has been a labor of love, a true passion and quite simply a way of life.

The countless hours of hard work, the changing seasons, and the sweet rewards of sugaring have shaped not only the land but also the lives of all those who have been a part of this incredible journey.

To our loyal customers, friends and community we thank you for your support, stories and appreciation for the tradition of maple sugaring. Your kindness and encouragement have meant the world to us.

While this chapter is coming to an end, the memories and friendships made along the way will last a lifetime.
