One of our fans took Zambezi Biltong along for a mountain bike ride through the Marin Headlands with his son. Along the way, he shared biltong with fellow hikers, stopped for a snack overlooking the Bay, and finished the ride doing what great snacks are meant for—bringing people together.

Growing up in Zimbabwe, biltong was always something shared. With family. With friends. With whoever happened to be nearby.

Seeing that tradition continue on the trails of Northern California reminds us that some things are universal.

It’s the question we heard all weekend at Union Street Festival.

What started as a simple conversation turned into hundreds of people discovering a Southern African tradition for the very first time. Watching someone take that first bite and seeing their reaction never gets old.

At Zambezi Biltong, we’re not just sharing an air-dried beef snack—we’re sharing a piece of home, a tradition passed down through generations, and a food that brings people together.
