Hi there! I'm guessing that many of you don't know me and I don't think I've ever even posted a picture of myself, so here I am! I also never intended to use my business platform as a fundraiser, but I'm trying to expand my reach. Here's what it's all about:

My goal for this year was to run at least one race every month. So far I have been successful, and many months I have run more than one! In January I assumed that they would all be 5K races. I was never a runner before last summer and even after learning how to run, I didn't especially enjoy it. But I stuck with it and now, most days, I do enjoy it! I feel my body getting stronger and faster. This morning I went for a 6 mile run and it didn't even feel hard!

I'm collecting donations for Wildflyer as part of their fundraising team for the Twin Cities Marathon! Wildflyer invests so much in the teens and young adults of our community to give them critical job training and skills. As a non-profit, they depend on fundraising to continue with their work.

We are less than two weeks away from the marathon on October 4th and I'm still quite far from my goal. I know as well as anyone how much the cost of living has soared, but anything you can donate is greatly appreciated! You can also share the link to my donation page, which is equally helpful! Most of us in Minneapolis are getting ready to go back to school tomorrow, but I made this cake for one of my former co-workers who retired this summer! Good luck to all the kiddos and teachers who DO have to go back tomorrow!
