Happy State Fair season to all who celebrate!

Five years ago, Racket pioneered a worker-owned, reader-funded model of alternative digital journalism in the Twin Cities. Since then, has published almost 5,000 articles by more than 200 contributors, on everything from hole-in-the-wall restaurants to hyper-local politics.

To mark their fifth anniversary, Racket revelers will be hanging out in the taproom and patio to drink beer, grab a slice of cake, and gab about independent media. They’ll have some giveaways, perhaps a few brief remarks, AND a book release showcasing some of their top stories. Come party! Buy the book! Raise a toast to (at least) 500 more years of Racket!

Our first run of Haetae cans sold out all too quick, so we made a bunch more! Our Haetae Brewed Apricot Soju is inspired directly by Korean drinking culture, and their most iconic spirit, soju. Our brewed take on this low-proof spirit is crisp & clear, greeting you with fruity apricot flavor, followed by alcohol warmth.

Try a Someak Cocktail!
Probably the most popular way to enjoy Soju. A common Korean cocktail of 1 part Soju and 3 parts rice lager. Better yet, Tokki Korean Rice Lager is the perfect beer for this mix.
