Have you ever tried a maple shiitake? 🍁🍄‍🟫 Find the first harvest of the year from Prairie Hollow Farm this Saturday!

Here’s the backstory from Pam: “These have become a favorite with market customers and local chefs. Shiitakes are generally grown on oak, but a ‘mistake’ when we were teaching a how-to class and a student grabbed logs from the wrong pile a few years ago, turned into a new product for us. A brighter flavor than oak shiitakes with a faint hint of maple.”

You can find Prairie Hollow Farm just inside the Train Shed entrance on the righthand side! Early bird gets the mushroom — we open at 8 🤗
