When the news broke last week that St. Paul-based Summit Brewing Company was facing foreclosure because it allegedly owes BMO Bank more than $8.2 million, it was yet another example of a local craft brewery facing financial hardship. There’s been more industry news this summer: Bauhaus Brew Labs in Northeast Minneapolis closed in June due to financial struggles before reopening under ownership of ABV Technology.

ABV’s technology gives the company the ability to vacuum the alcohol out of b**r, and CEO Ben Jordan believes this can carve a path forward in an industry that has seen hundreds of businesses close across the country in the past year. Read associate editor Connor O'Neal's story on our website.

September 25–26, we’re releasing Annual Review, our Oktoberfest l***r, with two days of b**r, food, DJ sets, games, and highly favorable findings.

Nordic Dogs and DJ James Taylor clock in Friday. And, at long last, Animales returns Saturday with DJ Shane Kramer.

What a whirlwind…

Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate, raise a glass, explore what’s new, and make the place feel like Bauhaus again.

And now, we get to do the regular part.

We’re open today from 3–10PM. Current hours can be found on our website, Google, and in our Taproom Story Highlight.

Grab a beverage, try something new, find your spot, and hang out for a while. La Troquita del Sur is on-site all week to keep you well fed. 🌮

And yes, we’re working on programming updates.

There’s plenty more coming, and we’ll share the details as they’re ready.
