-The first TV segment that debuted the CAMEL ON A STICK! for the Minnesota state fair. is a brave dude, he ate the whole Camel on stick twice on live T.V. First host to do so! 😋🤌🏾🔥

Quick Background: It took me about half of dozen years of trying and failing , trying and failing , trying again and failing more. I wasn’t catching a break at all with the state fair board. I had exciting items like Sambusa on a stick, Mango on a stick , Roasted Hilib Ari on a stick. Very exhausting journey indeed.

However , with little persistency and bit of luck I introduced Camel On A Stick! to the Board that year with the help of .

🚀 🤌🏾🔥 Camel On A Stick! became the featured item of the Minnesota State Fair. Catching all of the local & national news outlets and the curious palates of 100 Thousand People.

Ramadan Kareem✨

Here is a quick and healthy modern take on the traditional Bajiyah.

Vegan Bajiyah🧄🧅🌿

⭐️Very popular Ramadan finger food, starch heavy and very filling. This awesome dish is usually deep fried in fat or in clear frying oil. However, we will be using an oven to bake it or air fryer to make it quick and easy work.

✨Like all things worth cooking, the prep is hell and might take 96% of the cooking process. It is a special dish that is worth the sacrifice. It needs a lot of love in the beginning but the end result would be worth it🙌🏾😋

Ingredients👇🏾🧭

1 Cup Black-Eyed Peas
1 Teaspoon Sea Salt
1⁄2 Teaspoon (or Pinch) of Fresh Ground Black pepper
1 Teaspoon Gedo Masala Fresh Ground
1⁄4 Sweet Onion
1⁄2 bunch or 4 or 5 coriander leaves
5 garlic cloves
2 Serrano peppers, or substitute for heat level down (jalapeno) or level up (habanero)

Method:👇🏾➕

1. Soak the black-eyed peas in warm water overnight, if unable to soak overnight, soak for at least 2-3hours before cooking.

2. Wash the peas near a sink and using your hands, peel the first layer of the skin. Repeat this process and rinse until mostly all removed. Drain the water and add more water and drain each time 3-4 times or until you get as much of the skin peeled off of the black- eyed peas.

3. Using a food processor or a blender if not using a food processor, add black eyed peas and 1⁄4 cup of water to get the peas processed.

Add Garlic
Add Cilantro
Add Jalapeños ( seeded or deseed for less 🔥)
Pour Mixture Into a Bowl.

● Add Sea Salt the mixture
● Add Black Pepper
● Add Gedo Masala
● Mix It Together Real Well
🪄 Cheat Code: If the Mixture is too liquid or runny , you can add mashed potato as a thickening Starch)

⚫️Portion it with a spoon making 1.5 oz oblong or circular on an oiled baking pan.

⚫️Preheat Oven 375F gas or 400F on electric.

⚫️Once portioned on the pan. Place inside preheated oven for 12-15 minutes.

⚫️When ready remove them immediately from the oven onto a cool surface for 20mins and when ready move it to a serving bowl or a tray. Enjoy😋🙌🏾👌🏾
