Have you met Jacob?
Since joining DāAmico Hospitality 3 Ā½ years ago, Jacob Marek has brought his passion for travel, people, and creating memorable experiences to his work in event planning. His background as a travel planner gave him a natural eye for detail and a love of helping others discover the perfect destination; skills he now brings to every client experience.
Outside of work, Jacobās biggest passion is traveling. Most recently, he explored Italy, Tunisia, Spain, and France on a Mediterranean cruise. Heās also an active member of the Twin Cities Gay Menās Chorus, singing in the tenor section. At home, he enjoys cuddling with his cat, Corona, tending to his āplant babies,ā and, of course, brunching.
What is the most rewarding part of Jacobās job?
For Jacob, itās helping clients find the perfect venue and watching their vision come to life. He loves being part of the process from the initial idea to the completed event and seeing all the details come together to create something truly special.
Whatās his favorite memory while working with DāAmico Hospitality?
Just a month or two into his time at DāAmico, Jacob attended the companyās annual Family Dinner in the Skyline Room at the Walker. With a stunning Minneapolis skyline and the opportunity to connect with new colleagues and industry friends, the evening made an unforgettable first impression and a memorable introduction to the DāAmico family.
