This past weekend, so many of you stopped by the memorial table to share stories, write messages, offer hugs, sit quietly, or simply spend a moment remembering her. Thank you for bringing so much kindness, warmth, and love.

Reading your notes and hearing your memories reminded us how deeply Anu touched people through her quiet presence, sincerity, and smile over so many market seasons.

We would also like to offer a special heartfelt thank you to Macy - Manager at for going out of her way to create space for Anu’s memorial table and helping make it possible with so much care and sensitivity. It meant more to us than we can express.

To all our customers, fellow vendors, market teams, friends, and community members across every market — thank you for continuing to hold Krishna’s Delight with such love during this difficult transition.

As always their will be Krishnas delight and a weekly special in rice boats. Weekly special will be announced on Fridays.

Beginning This Season in Loving Memory of Anu 💛

Many of you may not have been aware that Anu, one of the hearts behind Krishna’s Delight, had been quietly living with breast cancer over the past two years. Through it all, she continued showing up at the markets with warmth, strength, and her ever-present smile.

After the last season, she traveled to India to fulfill her two deeply important wishes and spend her remaining time immersed in chanting, reading Bhagavad Gita, and spiritual association.

She spent her final days in Rajkot, at her Guru Maharaj’s ashram, where she regularly visited his samadhi for prayer and reflection.
And surrounded by devotees chanting Hare Krishna kirtan and mantras, Anu peacefully chose to leave her body at the end of last year.

This season will naturally feel different without her physical presence, but Krishna’s Delight continues in the spirit of what meant so much to her — serving food with love, care, and devotion, and sharing that experience with the community.

As we navigate this new chapter with a smaller team, Krishna’s Delight will be attending markets on select Saturdays this season rather than every week. We deeply appreciate your understanding, support, and kindness during this time.

We are grateful for all your love over the years and look forward to seeing many of you again this season. 💛

Yummy and Nutricious! And its Gluten Free, Vegan/Vegetarian and Allium Free. i.e. without onions and garlic! So you can enjoy the meal even if you have gluten, allium or lactose intolerance or avoid them for other reasons! 👍
