6am, truck’s loaded, and I already have sprinkles somewhere I shouldn’t.

Event prep mornings are always a fun type of chaos, double checking the mix, loading more than I think I’ll need, coffee that’s already gone cold by the time I’m on the road.

Pulled up to A BEAUTIFUL Minneapolis home for a grad party earlier this summer and served ice cream to 150 guests. The menu included a surprise Grad Special Sundae, featuring chocolate and vanilla twist soft serve with Oreos and cookie dough bites—and I loved seeing the line stretch all the way down the driveway.

Private events are some of my favorites because the truck becomes part of the party. Guests wander over, come back for seconds, and somehow the ice cream window turns into the place everyone gathers.

Vanilla is always on the menu because some things do not need fixing. But for an event at Green Central Elementary School, we also brought Mango (dairy-free). 🥭🍦

We served 660 kids and teachers, and the surprise favorite was the Vanilla Mango Twist! So many kids ordered it which means Mango may need to make another appearance soon.
