At Modist, our aim is to modify beer and how it is perceived by defying rules and expectations. We don’t abide by established style guidelines and refuse to bend to preconceived notions. 🍻Cheers to Bri!🍻

Local Grape Ape connoisseur Bri joined our team during the shutdowns of the 2020 pandemic as a crowler delivery person and worked her way up to Head Brewer, becoming MN’s first Black woman Head Brewer. She had to overcome a lot of adversity to get there, like being left at a truck stop in Iowa by her mom at age 14, but she made it. In her free time, you can find Bri playing video games, hiking, reading, trying new restaurants, sipping on cocktails, or traveling. In fact, she’s made it to every state except Alaska. They know why.
