We are a week removed from the MYLE swine show, and it was a great 4 days spent with friends and other show pig enthusiasts. Here are the highlights from the show. It was really special to have 2 market hogs in the top 10 this year!!

We feel very fortunate to have landed what we thought was the breed changer of the show at The Exposition. His ability to take bone, mass and density too the max is quite remarkable! Normally when you make them this stout featured you loose power and center body. This guy, however, has all the spread up high you could want along with an enormous cage and takes those dimensions all the way to the ground. “Truth Be Told” we believe he has the ability to move the needle as quickly as any we have put in the barn.

Since our founding, there have been very few times we have sold gilts on the national level, but we felt that we needed to bring an awesome one out to offer to the public.

Littermate gilt won her class in the Jr show in Springfield on Wednesday. Their pedigree is Wolfpack x Smoke Rings

Dam is the same dam as Undercover, the boar we sold to Premium Blend last year. She was champion spot gilt at the 2023 MN State Fair.

Granddam is the same Granddam as Timberwolf, and was Champion spot gilt MN State Fair in 2021.

It’s sale day!

We made the trip down to the Exposition with a York boar and you have the chance to take him home later today! He’s a Hard Truth x Tycoon. His mom was the Champion York at the MN State Fair in ‘24, and his Granddam is the mother of Country Bone, she also won our State Fair.

So great to see Charli hanging banners! She does such a great job at getting them fed, fitted and shown at a high level. MYSS is such a great way for young people in MN to show off their hard work. This one is a Buckle Up x Roll Call. Keep it rolling Charli!

Clean Sweep for Country Girls bred pigs at the MYSS shows this weekend in the Duroc division. Champion Duroc gilt both days with 2 different pigs! We can’t wait to see how this turns out. Congrats to Harrison Hundt family and Charli Gjemse!! One is a Clockwork x Waymaker, the other is Standing on Business x Waymaker. Keep up the great work!
