Here at Hahn Family Shorthorns we are dedicated to produce Shorthorn and Shorthorn influenced cattle designed to not only perform here for our beef needs, but most importantly to perform for our seedstock and commercial customers. Happy Thanksgiving!!

We have numerous things to be blessed and thankful for but it starts with our family and faith.

Thank you to all of our friends and fellow cattlemen who continue to support our program. We have much to be thankful for over the past year and many more exciting times in the future.

Congratulations to all the HAHN genetics that were successful at the American Royal. In both the junior and open show grand heifer drives there were division champions that had Leading Lady and Elizabeth genetics.

Next, we had to wait to say congrats to this family because they came early to pick out heifers this fall and one of these females was still on the cow. We are so excited for the future for both of these females pictured below. HAHN Elizabeth S16N and HAHN Leading Lady S24N are going to have a bright future for Fynlee Boatman. Not only in the show ring but most importantly in the pasture. Two dominant females that have a tremendous potential!!

Happy October and it sure is happy when we get to talk about how HAHN Fantasy P18N went to a great home. This family came early and was sold on this female before we even got a proper sale picture of her.

Let’s keep up the updates with this really good March 2025 born female that found her new home. We can not thank Darrin Nadler enough for believing in our operation. We look forward to seeing HAHN Alicia S21N being extremely successful in the pasture.

What a great day we had on Sunday picturing some of our sale heifers. We got four of them done. Man they are fun to work on. These heifers are being sold privately on a first come basis.

These Jungels sired heifers have been favorites since January and we probably should keep these outcross genetics here. There is no better example than S9N. This daughter of our popular Leading Lady cow family is elite. So much balance, structural correctness, body mass, foot and look in this one. She is 8 year old gentle and has the outcross quality to make your syndicated stud famous in the fall of 2027 on SC or Aegerter. There have been many conversations about pulling this one from the draft of sale heifers and keeping her here for a grandkid to show. As for now, she is all yours, but I would recommend getting here before Dad hides her.
