See you all tomorrow, 1-5pm!! As long as the weather stays fair, I’ll be reopening the garage cafe for the season! I really hope the rain passes through quickly as my goal was to have the walk-up cafe back in action the week of the shop’s 2 year anniversary, which is this week!

Alrighty, so although we still won’t be getting our kitchen plumbing issue fixed today it will hopefully be done by/on Wednesday so as long as that remains the case I WILL be back open on Wednesday!! We got the garage cleared and power washed yesterday, so I’ll be setting things back up for the walk in cafe to be reopened for the season! The weather this week looks to be pretty rainy so I’m not sure if I’ll have it open this week but as long as the rain clears we’ll be back to an online OR in person ordering system!! I was really hoping to be open on my 2 year shop anniversary (June 1st) but we can still celebrate that when I reopen!
Thank you all for your patience and understanding! I am still mostly staying off of the shop socials so apologies if I’ve missed things, I will get back on top of it soon!

A quick update: our plumbing issue in the kitchen is still not fixed, I will update again when it is! Until then, I’ll be working on getting the walk in cafe reopened!
I am also taking a break from Facebook while I work on things behind the scenes, so apologies if I don’t get back to messages or requests to join the small business group!

Late night update: unfortunately we aren’t able to get someone to fix the plumbing issue for at least a couple days so I will NOT be open tomorrow 😭😭. Hopefully we can get this fixed asap and be able to open this weekend! I’ll use the down time to work on the garage to prepare for reopening.

Tuesday, May 26th: Hi, all! Hope you’ve had a great Memorial Day weekend. Ours was great! …… Until our garbage disposal died while cleaning up our cooking mess 😭. Hopefully we can get someone to fix it today but if not I will NOT be able to open tomorrow as I can’t wash dishes or really use the sink much to avoid further backing up the plumbing.
Will update when we know if it’ll get fixed in time or not!
If we can’t get it fixed by tomorrow, I may also take the week to focus on getting the garage ready to reopen. Again, I’ll let you guys know what the plan is as soon as I know! Thank you for understanding and see you all soon 🧋🫶🏼.

We’ve started the deep cleaning process for the garage, so fingers crossed we’ll have it ready for a June 1st reopen! It’ll be the shop’s 2 year anniversary so I really want to be able to celebrate that with the reopening of the walk-in cafe.

Friday, May 22nd: OPEN for online orders today from 1-5pm! It might be chilly and raining this weekend but have you seen the weather report for next week?? Already TOO hot for me, personally! I am starting the process of cleaning out the garage so I can deep clean, then set up the walk in garage cafe again for the summer! Until then, it’ll be online order pickups.
It’s already almost the last week to get the May seasonals, so get them while they last! Reminder that the Morning Mojito will be available through the summer, but the Maryland Latte and the Tochigi Fog will be gone by June 1st.
Did you know? When I was developing the recipe for the Tochigi Fog, I decided that regular store-bought lavender syrup wasn’t for me anymore and I started making my own for the cafe! If you’ve had any lavender drink since May 1st, you might have noticed the change! It tastes a lot more natural and aromatic since I make it with real lavender and no extra flavors/ingredients other than what goes in my simple syrup base.

Wednesday, May 20th: OPEN for online orders today from 1-5pm. This week is looking slightly gloomy, so stop by and get yourself a midweek pick-me-up!

I’m figuring out a special deal for bulk milk teas for Memorial Day since I won’t be open, so keep an eye out! I’m thinking of having pre-orders and for them to come in emptied out water jugs. Flavors would be: Thai tea, mango green tea, taro milk tea, house milk tea, or homemade cold brew concentrate. Let me know if you’d be interested!

Did you know? My espresso-based drinks are all hand-pulled and the beans are hand-ground! My beans are changed up every few months; currently they are from one of my favorite local roasters in my home state, Ceremony Coffee Roasters. I prefer using medium to light roast for my espresso and medium to dark roast for my cold brew and pour overs. What are your thoughts? Do you notice a difference between my lattes and non-manual espresso drinks?
