best day ever…
let me start by saying you never know
who you’re going to meet at a coffee shop.
last friday we participated in a pub crawl
for the Airstream International Rally that was in Minot.
thousands of “airstreamers” came to town for the rally. they are the nicest group of people!! Seriously!!
anyways, I started chatting with a group of people + they invited me to check out the vintage airstreams that were going to be open for tours the next day.
My hubby and I went and toured lots of amazing vintage airstreams, but we did not get to see any of the newer models.
My friend Daphne (cutie in the hat) texted me to see what I thought of the tour. I told her it was so amazing but i wished I could have seen a new airstream. Up until this point, I had never been in an airstream + couldn’t imagine how cool the newer ones would be.
Side note…
my dream is to buy an airstream + travel to the national parks with my husband. I want to see + experience the beautiful country that we live in. I want to eat, drink + see ALL.THE.THINGS…be surrounded by God’s creations.
so back to the story…
yesterday I got a text from Daphne asking if I’d be at the coffeeshop between 10-10:30am. I told her that I would be.
y’all!!
Daphne, Jeff + their spouses showed up to give me my very own private tour of a 2025 + 2018 Airstream. 🤩
they even let the “coffee w cousins” group tour the airstreams too.
before they left, my dad bought them all coffee + got hugs from the ladies. lol
all of this to say…
you never know who you’re going to meet. you may be blown away by the kindness of strangers, like I was. and heck, maybe this is a nudge from God saying that he likes my plan + to go for it?!
all I know is, the airstream thing has definitely jumped up 10 notches on my bucket list.
