A little macaron update for the Minot Farmer's Market on Tuesday August 11th at Oak Park:

20 mango-peach 🥭🍑 with freeze-dried peaches
21 strawberry 🍓 with freeze-dried strawberries
20 raspberry cheesecake ❤️
40 pistachio 💚 with chopped pistachios

The mango-peach is a favorite, and I’m especially happy with the pistachio this time — white chocolate buttercream with chopped pistachios.

I also just finished making 100 macarons for a graduation party, so it’s been a busy couple of weeks around here. 😊

The macarons are filled and resting in the fridge now to mature for Tuesday.

I’ll have boxes of 6 for $15 and boxes of 12 for $30. If you have a particular mix of flavors you’d like, I’m happy to put a box together for you ahead of time, as long as I still have the flavors you want. Otherwise I will build boxes for purchase on Tuesday.

We will also have our freeze-dried fruits and candies. Hope to see some familiar faces at the market!

With today's temperatures expected to reach 94°, we've decided to stay out of the heat and won't be at the Minot Farmers Market today. As much as we were looking forward to seeing everyone, we want to keep our treats at their best—and ourselves, too!

We'll be back at the Minot Farmers Market on Tuesday, August 4th, with macarons, freeze dried fruit, candy, and smiling faces. We hope you'll stop by and say hello!

Until then, we'd love to hear from you. What's your favorite macaron flavor? Is there a seasonal flavor you'd love to see at the market? Tell us in the comments—we're always inspired by your ideas.

One of the questions I get is, "What exactly do you sell?" 😊

The answer is... a little bit of everything, but there's a reason behind it.

I offer freeze-dried fruits and vegetables, freeze-dried candy and homemade candy, with the rest being my baked goods including French macarons.

Because my business is called Fox Hollow Freeze Drying, many naturally assume everything I sell has been freeze-dried. Some have even thought I make freeze-dried pet treats because of my fox logo! 🦊 (but I actually make people treats! 😊)

The truth is, freeze drying isn't just the product I sell—it's also one of my favorite tools in the kitchen.

Making delicious macarons is becoming a real passion of mine, and I'm working hard to become the best macaron baker I can be. Freeze-dried fruits let me create bold, natural flavors without adding extra moisture, and freeze-dried candies can become fun, creative fillings and toppings you won't find just anywhere. The freeze dryer helps me create unique ingredients that make my macarons even more special.

So while you'll always find freeze-dried snacks at my booth, you're also seeing pieces of where Fox Hollow is headed.

Now for my Tuesday dilemma...

I'm scheduled to be at the farmers market on July 28th, but the forecast is calling for 95° temperatures with an even higher heat index. Macarons and candy don't appreciate that kind of weather any more than I do! I'm weighing whether I can safely display everything without compromising quality. My first priority is making sure what you buy is at its absolute best.

I'll make a final decision soon. Thank you for supporting our little business as it continues to grow and evolve. I truly appreciate every conversation, every purchase, and every bit of encouragement along the way. ❤️

We had a lot of fun starting our new experience with the Minot Farmer's Market and enjoyed meeting you! Our primary items will be my freeze-dried foods (fruit, vegetables, candy, and homemade desserts), but we have to bring baked goods as well!

For the week of June 15-19, 2026:

FREEZE-DRIED FOODS
New stock of raspberries as well as a couple of packs of golden kiwi slices.

Blueberries and maple sugar/cinnamon HoneyCrisp/Envy apples may be done in time for Tuesday, otherwise will be there on Thursday.

New candies this week include gummy bears and sour gummy bears.

TUESDAY BAKING
Loaded Chocolate Chip Cookies
Loaded M&M Cookies
Macarons (Raspberry Cheesecake, Strawberry Lemonade)
Vanilla Bean Cupcakes

THURSDAY BAKING
Cinnamon Rolls
Caramel Rolls

I am gluten-free myself, so I work with gluten-free ingredients in a dedicated workspace. But I don't want anyone to miss out, so I only make things that anyone can enjoy. Many of my taste testers do not have to eat gluten free.

I will be there most Tuesdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and am hoping to be there on Thursday mornings from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for many weeks as well.

Please message me if you would like to pre-order any baked goods that you can pick up at the farmer's market.

I am preparing for a totally new experience starting Tuesday, June 9th. I am now a member of the Minot Farmer's Market! I am planning on being there most Tuesdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. for the season, which goes through the end of October. I am hoping to be there on Thursday mornings from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for many weeks as well. My primary items will be my freeze-dried candy, fruit, and vegetables, and homemade desserts. But I have to bring my baked goods as well!

For this first week I have freeze-dried New York style cheesecake bites, almond brittle, raspberries, sweet bell peppers, our new banana salt water taffy, as well as many of your favorite candies.

I will also be bringing Loaded Chocolate Chip Cookies and Loaded M&M Cookies. They are both browned butter cookies with either a three-chip mix (semi-sweet, milk, and white chocolate) or M&Ms. These are made with gluten-free ingredients in a dedicated workspace.

Another item I will bring is my almond melt away bars with chocolate chips or M&Ms. It's a gooey bar made with almond flour that you need to try! Also made with gluten-free ingredients in the same workspace.

I hope to see you there as I start this new adventure!
