Truly such an honor.

🐷 We would like to extended a big congratulations to the Carity Family for being named NJSA Herdsman of the Year 🐷

✨ The Carity family have always been tremendous supporters of the NJSA and the junior swine industry for many years. Their willingness to give back, encourage youth, support fellow exhibitors and represent our industry with integrity has made a lasting impact on countless families and young people across the country. Whether behind the scenes, in the barns or ringside, the Carity Family consistently demonstrates the character and dedication that embody this award.

We would also like to thank the McGrew family for donating the newly introduced traveling trophy for the NJSA Herdsman of the Year in honor and memory of David McGrew.

✨ David McGrew was a passionate supporter of youth livestock programs and believed deeply in the values that the NJSA promotes -- hard work, humility, service and family. His legacy continues to inspire so many within our industry, and we are extremely grateful that this award and traveling trophy will serve as a lasting tribute to his imapct and commitment to the next generation.
