It's been a interesting 3 days here. For the last 3 nights I've had a unwanted visitor come calling. We have had a owl slam into our window trying to get to our baby chicks. Then it would stand in the window looking in. I scared it off and It just flew up into the tree to watch. You would think after the first time slamming into the window it would have enough sence to not do it again. Nope 3 nights so far. Im covering the window hoping that would stop it from doing it before it breaks the window. Below is the Owl looking in the window after flying into it and up in the tree after I scared it off.

Ill be the first to tell you i know nothing about Silkies. But im about to learn. My Polish Silkie Cross aka Twitch is 5 weeks old and playing mommy to 2 week old silkies. It is so sweet and fun to watch them together as they scoot under or cuddle up to twitch. Twitch has been so gentle with them and motherly for such a young bird. I know these are not show quality but I love them anyways. Silkies are special little birds.
