Meet the face behind .miami

If I’m being honest, I had no idea what I was doing when I started this.

Moving to the States after surviving the earthquake in Haiti taught me that life doesn’t wait for you to feel ready. You just have to start, even when you don’t fully understand what’s ahead.

My mother understood this when she began Puce almost 40 years ago in Port-au-Price, and I decided to step into it in my own way here in Miramar.

No blueprint or clear plan. Just a feeling that I needed to try.

There were a lot of moments that didn’t make sense. Things not working the way I thought they would, decisions I had to rethink, and days where I questioned everything.

But we kept going!

Almost a year later, Puce became real. Not perfect, not finished, but real. A space I’ve been shaping little by little, learning as I go.

I’m still figuring things out. But I think that’s the point!
