Day 19-29 of Getting My Ice Cream Truck on The Road!!!

So These last couple weeks the Plumbing has been installed and completed.

I think we are almost in the Home Stretchhhhhhhh and I’m Itching to see the final results.

Next up is switching the doors around on the refrigerators, a few add ons to the electrical panels and she should be ready for pick up .

When I tell you, Uber eats, took us WHERE WE DIDN’T WANNA GO last night 😂😂.

I eventually did get some downtime closer to closing, but one thing I must say comparing Uber eats to DoorDash 🤗. Those Uber eats drivers have absolutely no sense of direction 🤣🤣😂.

More than half of the orders last night were delayed by an average time of 20 to 30 minutes 😑. My DoorDash drivers had no problems at all 🤷🏽‍♀️.
Not sure if it’s a driver error or a map system error but it for sure wasn’t MY ERROR 😭.
Y’all better get it right tonight cause these people do not wanna wait 30 to 45 minutes to get their fix ‼️

As a online bakery owner of 15 years I have worked with thousands of clients, many of home have been ordering cakes from me for over 10+ years. I have been involved and present for a lot of peak moments, which sometimes makes me a part of the family in a sense. I’ve been there for baby showers and watched some of your kids go from toddlers to high school graduates.
I’ve been there for weddings, milestone, birthdays, funerals, and I have provided holiday desserts for your family gatherings.
I am honored and humbled to grow and create special relationship/bonds with the people who called me their “cake lady”
I would have never made it this far without you guys 🫶🏽.
