Meet Solovino 🐶🤍
His name means “he came on his own,” and that’s exactly how he found us.
We’ve always had a soft spot for Yorkies—small, loving, and full of personality 🐩💕. Ranch dogs weren’t really part of the plan.
Then one day, out in the brush, we noticed what looked like a white fog moving toward us. As it came closer, we realized it was a dog—skinny, exhausted, and covered in burrs. He looked like he hadn’t eaten in days and was clearly in need of care 💔🌾.
We shared his photo on social media, hoping someone would recognize him or come for him. But there was only silence.
So in 2023, we made the decision to keep him and see where this journey would take us ❤️.
What followed has been nothing short of incredible.
Solovino turned out to be the most loyal, obedient, clean, ranch-loving dog we have ever had 🐾✨. He responds to commands like no other, works cattle with us, and can spot a snake from 20 feet away 🐍👀. When we get off the ATV, he walks ten feet ahead, scanning the area—always watching, always protecting.
And despite their size difference, Solovino and Sophie (our Yorkie) are best friends 🐶🐩💞.
If you ever have the opportunity to rescue a dog, do it. You will never regret it.
They are truly God-sent 🙏🐾.
So many people have offered to take him off our hands now… but it’s far too late.
Solovino is family.
And he is ours to love—forever 🤍🏡✨
