Sometimes the w**ds overtake and you have to Bob and weave through your plants. Yesterday it poured down rain so I risked it that I could till through this garden. It was all good, but after the rain came the extreme heat and humidity. I always neglect this garden. Its where I grow all the viney things like watermelon, cantaloupe and squash. What I also seemed to neglect that bugs were destroying this garden. 4 cantaloupe absolutely obliterated. I need to remember to grow EXTRA. For when this happens. So today im going out to work on pest control. And roll in the dirt (dont forget to ground yourself)

After eating pizza what should we do? Work it off. Lol. Okay but anyways. This use to be my pig pen and we recently moved them, so the soil is prime time amazing!! We're using it for a drive way to the backyard and figured why the hell not plant the longest strip of sunflowers. Might as well use the area while it's still mud/poo before its all grass and w**ds. This is going to be beautiful. I dug by myself a good 150 foot trench along the fence and planted loads of sunflowers. I figured why not have something beautiful to look at come September. I already plant alot of sunflowers 🌻 but why not plant more. Don't forget to keep your old sunflower and let them dry out so you never have to buy sunflowers again. I keep a 5 gallon bucket worth of sunflower seeds, because im obsessed 😍

When your chickens are laying more eggs than you can sell, you really have to think how to use them up so scrambled eggs doesnt get boring. Im one of those people that likes to throw things together with stuff I already have. So I came up with this funky, yet delicious pizza. 4 cheese sauce top with eggs(farm fresh from the backyard), pulled pork(homegrown) and topped with mozzarella. All on top of pizza crust. I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out, but its actually delicious and the first time I've ate cheese in a month. 😋

This is the second time we've almost w**d wacked this poor guy. But a year apart. How he stays hidden for so long then just reappears from the abyss is beyond me. But its definitely the same turtle, he has the same battle wounds. We put him back where he came from just incase he/she might have some family hiding away. Live long little turtle!

U pick strawberries! My normal location isnt doing so well, so tried another location. And even these berries are extremely small. But when you have to PRE PAY to pick. I make sure to go home with heaping boxes of strawberries. Hopefully soon the ones right in my own backyard will be good to eat.

Well thats done. To think you have to plant things for fall so early on. Most (not all) pumpkins take around 90 to 110 days from the moment you plant them in the dirt. Many different varieties got planted today, just in time for this weekend to rain on them and hopefully get them germinated.
