Wanted to post this the other day, but I was too loopy from Benadryl. While weeding the old herb garden I happen to step on a hornets nest. I was stung over a dozen times on my right elbow alone. There was one sting on my ear and was stung six times on my left shoulder and side.

DRAGON TONGUE BEANS - The most striking bean in the garden has arrived!

If you’ve stopped by our market table this week, you’ve probably spotted these beauties! Dragon Tongue beans are a 19th-century Dutch heirloom known for their creamy yellow pods and vivid, painted-on purple stripes.

Harvested fresh from our fields, they’re 100% stringless, incredibly sweet, and juicy.

💡 Farm Kitchen Tip: That gorgeous purple marbling is heat-sensitive! To keep the stripes visible on your plate, serve them raw—sliced thin in summer salads—or blanch them very briefly.
