Tonight is the Ancient Persian tradition of Charashanbeh Suri, a night of fire, renewal, and release of the past. As we gather together to jump over the flames, we carry forward light, health, and new beginnings.

This year, as we take part in this ritual of renewal, we do so with honor for our brave people, for the lives lost, and for the hope of a brighter, freer iran.
