To our incredible customers and supporters,

After much reflection, we’ve made the difficult decision to close Semper Fried. It’s been an amazing journey serving up the most motivated, veteran-loved meals and connecting with our local community. We can’t thank you enough for the love, laughs, and unforgettable moments along the way.

As we move on to new opportunities, we’re also looking for a new home for our food truck. If you or someone you know is interested in purchasing a fully equipped food trailer, please reach out for details. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to start their own mobile food business!

This may be the goodbye for now, but this ain't a retreat. Just attacking in a different direction, good to go? Thank you for being part of our story—we couldn’t have done it without you.

Ok, so hear us out: we WANT to find a new location and reopen for y'all. But what in the hell are Valley "business people" smoking that makes them justify $750 for a spot (that's the cheapest we've been offered, not to mention other dumb fees)? And now we have to turn down events because it takes so much with current food prices to restock just for a day event. We can't even open just out of the kindness of our hearts if we wanted to, let alone turn a profit just to pay the family.

Before we blame politics, left versus right, whoever the president is, was, or will be, bear in mind we REALLY tried. Real warriors don't care about all that officer crap, but it's hard to take shots when all mags are empty and we're just yelling "BANG BANG".

Rant over. Tl;Dr rent sucks, prices suck, and we have too much pride and honor to charge y'all double for food we make with love. Any actual leads would be appreciated.

Listen, bbygirl. I miss you too. Daddy's just trying to figure out where the truck's gotta be parked, and then I'm all yours again. I promise I'll make your favorite order exactly the way you like. I never forgot how you get your Baja style tacos (with hot salsa because you're not a coward) OR your chicken basket (BBQ sauce and seasoned fries) but ask and you will receive, kitten. I'll make it all better soon 😘

Statistically speaking, roughly half of all restaurants or food trucks fail within their first year. Yet here we are, a year after opening, offering nearly double our original menu when we first opened in front of 5x5 Brewing Co.

It's no mystery we offer the absolute best in fried comfort food round here, not to mention our Baja style tacos and burritos that rival even the best in the RGV. Listen, if we didn't think the valley was worth it, we wouldn't be original and just crank out burgers or something (nothing wrong with burgers it's whatever).

We've met some amazing people, worked side by side with incredible food trucks (big shoutout to our friends at The Coffee Depot and Philly’s Cheesesteaks 215) and got coined to death by a lot of badass veterans. We'll always be grateful for all the events, opportunities, and love we've received so far.

That being said, we plan on moving to a new location VERY soon to continue to offer our freedom fuel. Details for the new LZ to come very soon, y'all will be the first to know. From the bottom of all our hearts, thank y'all for the support and we'll see you soon at our new location.

Listen, we're way cooler than a one-trick pony. Our pony's got all-wheel drive and TOW missiles, but do you know what else we got that no one else around here does? That's right....

YET ANOTHER HEALTH INSPECTION WITH ZERO DEMERITS. Our biggest issue here at Semper Fried is not getting a big head over how amazingly clean our place is, but when we're dedicated to bringing the valley the best fried comfort food ever, you can't help but offer nothing other than excellence.
