Missoula Wine Merchants is a specialty wine shop in downtown Missoula, Montana with a fantastic selection of wine, beer, cheese, charcuterie and gifts. Our extensive selection of wines are chosen based on quality and value. While we carry well-known wines at every price point, we are passionate about smaller producers and harder-to-find wines. We are dedicated to giving our customers personal attention and pride ourselves on customer service. We strive to provide our patrons with a diverse selection as well as an education about varietals, regions, unique wines and more. We encourage people to ask us questions like "What will go well with my dinner," or, “What should I buy as a gift for my friend's wedding." We strive to be the wine shop Missoula chooses based on our unique, edited selection, knowledgeable staff and our passion for wine.

We’ll be tasting Barolo, Barbaresco and other reds from one of the most sought-after and prestigious w**emaking regions in the world. The blind tasting format we have been using has been fantastic, so we are doing one more but adding a bit of a twist. This time around, we will be telling you what you are tasting beforehand (bottles featured in this post’s photos), but you will not know the order in which you will be tasting them until the bottles are revealed at the end of the night. What could be better than an amazing evening with friends, w**e and a fun guessing game? Mark your calendars and prepare for an extraordinary evening!

Domaine Tempier Lulu & Lucien Rouge and Domaine Tempier Blanc✨

With strict allocations, it is always an exciting day when we can welcome the fall arrival of our Tempier Rouge and Tempier Blanc w**es. Typically, 50% of the yearly w**es from Domaine Tempier are rosé, 45% red, and a mere 5% are white. Of the total year’s stock, only 1/3 of their w**es are imported to the US. Of those limited cases, even fewer make it all the way to Montana and into our shop. It is a treat we are always so grateful to receive and to share with our community.
