Thanks to all of the planners, organizers, volunteers, and attendees who made The Taste such a fantastic night! We’re so glad we had the chance to participate and are thrilled that an additional $10,000 was raised for the Montana Food Bank Network on top of ticket sales. Thanks to Jen Knoetgen from Mountain Meat Shares for a fun afternoon cooking Oxbow Cattle Company burgers! We love using the pork, chicken, and beef that Jen sources from local farms, which are selected for their ethical and sustainable raising practices (as well as flavor!). We look forward to more collaborations!

Happy New Year from the Fireflies! Thank you for making 2017 such a delicious year for us as a new business. We celebrated the start of 2018 with a bowl of ramen made with grass-fed beef from our friends at Mountain Meat Shares. Stay tuned for an upcoming ramen dinner this winter!

We’ve been in the holiday spirit thanks to a sweet gift from our friend Dan Riffe, who sent three grades of pure New York maple syrup! The tinkering began with a brined and smoked ham, glazed in grade B maple syrup and whole grain mustard. The ham was cooled, sliced, and griddled for a starring role in a classic breakfast sandwich. We’ll be offering our maple ham in events throughout the holiday season. Thanks a bunch Dan!
