Pretzel 🥨 Bun 🥨 Reuben 🥨 Friday

We have a few options for you today.

Option 1: You realize work is a drag, the weekend is almost here. You're already at work, but you've gotten plenty done today. You send an email to your boss, you've got a friend who really needs you and you'll need to leave early, probably around noon. You head straight to Bayern, we're the friend that needs you.

Option 2: You're stuck at work, your boss is a drag and never let's you leave early. You've hustled all week and all day, 5 o'clock hits. You're out the door by 5:01 and on a bar stool by 5:15. You've got an Oktoberfest in your hand and a Reuben on it's way. You've already forgotten about all your weekday woes.

Whatever option works for you works for us, we'll see you there 🍻

Ethan's there to pick you up. Need a beer? Ethan's here! Need a brat? Don't worry, Ethan hasn't forgot. Delighted by his drawing? Tell him and he'll be fawning.

The dates have been set, so mark your calendar 🍻

Here at Bayern we like to get down the Bavarian way, and one Oktoberfest simply isn't enough for us. We have 3 amazing events coming up, giving you plenty of opportunity to experience Bayern's Oktoberfest.

Join us September 18th, September 25th and October 2nd for an evening full of Oktoberfest celebrations. There will be music, authentic German cuisine, and the best beer in town!

This year we've also paired with Arts Missoula to offer two evenings of qualifying rounds for the Montana State Steinholding Championship 🍺

No matter the reason, we're here for you.

There are a great many things that make Bayern special, but the most important are the people who keep coming back. They share their stories, their kindness, and sometimes their hardships. They remind us that we're nothing without community, and a beer always tastes better when you're drinking it with a friend.

So come on in to the place where you'll always find someone willing to listen, because the person working the bar is a real friend, and the one sitting next to you probably is as well.

Did you know? 🍺🥨

Oktoberfest comes earlier than you may realize. While many are surprised to see our Oktoberfest hit the shelves as early as August, it’s actually only arriving a little more than a month before festivities begin.

On October 12th  1810 the Crown Prince Ludwig married the Princess Therese of Saxony. In celebration of their marriage officials invited the public to horse races and the first Oktoberfest was born. These races were brought back the following year, and many afterwards. Along with horse races, an agricultural show was added in the year of 1811, helping promote Bavarian agriculture. In 1814 we see the beginning of swings and climbing poles, carnival style booths appear in 1818, and it 1819 officials decide Oktoberfest will become an annual celebration. Further on in the century the festival was moved to mid September, with the party ending on the first Sunday of October so that celebrations could be held during warmer evenings.

While Oktoberfest may still hold on to its original name, September is when the party really begins. So get your calendars out, and mark them for September 18th and 25th and October 2nd because we’ll be getting down the Bavarian way.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by the Bayern Brewing booth this Saturday at the MBA Summer Rendezvous!
The temperatures were high, but so were the smiles. We loved catching up with longtime Bayern fans, meeting new friends, and hearing your stories. One of our favorites? A young couple who always stop by beers AND for brats... for their dogs! 🐶🌭
Thank you to our incredible team for making it all happen and to everyone who shared a beer, a laugh, and a little time with us.

Mark your calendars, the most important day of the month is almost here. 🥨

It's hot, and it's smokey, but that isn't going to stop us from slinging Reubens to anyone who can get themselves in the door! Come in This Friday the 31st to get Missoula's best Reuben. We'll be open 11 am to 8pm but you don't want to be too late to this party. These bad boys are only available until they run out, and they're sure to do just that.
