We are going to do something a little different for the next one. Mr. Mike Toupes with Rush Wines will be joining us for next week's wine dinner and he has collaborated with us on the wine and food pairings. We are definitely excited about this one.
1st Course
Bruschetta Agrodolce
Roasted Red Bell peppers, grilled onions, sundried tomatoes, basil and balsamic vinegar, served with toasted bread.
Demarie, Langhe Nebbiolo
A medium-bodied and delicate wine with hints of violet and rose petals
2nd Course
Insalata Fiorucci
Mixed field greens, artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, and grilled eggplant. Garnished with hazelnut bread, goat cheese medallion
and a vinaigrette dressing.
Demarie, Langhe Arneis
Brilliant, sunny, and bright with shades of straw yellow and green reflections.
The aroma is full and well-established with hints of peach, apricot, wild broom
and chamomile.
3rd Course
Veal Parmesan
Veal breaded in Mama Mandola's bread crumbs and served with sautéed Italian green beans
Demarie, Barbera d'Alba Superiore
Expect intense fruity aromas of prune and mulberry, with a hint of spice.
Full-bodied on the palate with perfectly balanced acidity. It is dry, fresh, and fragrant
with lingering traces of plum, blackberry, and cherry.
4th Course
Sogno di Cioccolata
A double layer of brownie, chocolate mousse, homemade whipped cream, and a raspberry puree'.
Demarie, Birbet
Brilliant cherry red with faint ruby nuances and pink foam from fine bubbles. It is fragrant
with floral undertones that are reminiscent of strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries.
