Last night, Georgia Roussos Catering had the honor of catering a beautiful plated, seated dinner for University of South Alabama President Jo Bonner and the USA Board of Trustees at the Jaguar Marching Band Facility. 🐆❤️🤍💙

It was an evening filled with great company, delicious food, and plenty of Southern hospitality!

Our evening began with passed hors d’oeuvres:
🧀 Cheese Straw Tomato Tartlets
🦞 Lobster & Avocado Salad on Appetizer Spoons

The plated dinner continued with:
🥣 Summer Squash & Sweet Corn Gazpacho
🍐 Roasted Pear & Walnut Salad
🥩 Filet Mignon with Herb Butter
🦪 Seared Scallops
🥔 Fingerling Potatoes
🥕 Honey Roasted Carrots & Cauliflower
🥖 Fresh Rolls & Butter

And to finish the evening on a sweet note:
🍰 Pecan Tartlets

We were grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a special evening and to serve the leadership of the University of South Alabama. From the first passed appetizers to the final dessert, our team loved bringing this dinner together!

Last night was a special evening at the Mobile Chamber as Georgia Roussos Catering had the honor of catering a reception welcoming Dr. Daniel McCarthy, the new Athletic Director at the University of South Alabama!

We were honored to be a part of this exciting occasion as Dr. McCarthy begins his new role following the retirement of longtime Athletic Director Dr. Joel Erdmann. Congratulations to Dr. McCarthy and best wishes for a successful new chapter in this new role at USA!! Go Jags!! ❤️🤍💙

Last night, Georgia Roussos Catering was honored to cater a special reception welcoming Dr. Brian Persing as the new Director of USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute.

Guests enjoyed an elegant selection of handcrafted bites, including:

Calling all bacon lovers! Today is the perfect excuse to celebrate one of our favorite ingredients—and we’ve got plenty of delicious ways to do it at Georgia Roussos Catering ! ❤️

🔥 Bacon-Wrapped Conecuh Sausage — smoky, savory conecuh sausage, wrapped in bacon and fried - these are just heavenly!

🍤 Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp — plump, juicy shrimp wrapped in bacon and cooked until the bacon is perfectly crisp and the shrimp are tender and flavorful.

Today, we celebrated one of our awesome cooks and longtime employees- Greg!! 🎉🎉

Greg began working with us at Roussos Restaurant downtown when he was just 18 years old.. and now 32 years later- he is still bringing his hard work, sense of humor and great attitude to the kitchen!!❤️

From 18-50 — that’s a whole lot of years, good memories and lifelong friendships! We are thankful for everything Greg has brought to our team over the years!!😊😊

Yesterday was a very special day for the Georgia Roussos Catering family! 🎉🦀🦞🍤

We had the honor of catering the 80th birthday celebration of Bill Ward, owner of Ward International Trucks — and one of our valued customers for an incredible 41 years! ❤️

To celebrate, we brought the feast to them and cooked a spectacular seafood buffet on site for Bill, his family, employees, and loved ones. Fresh seafood, great food, and even better company made for a truly memorable celebration.

And what made the day even more special? Bill’s grandson shares his birthday! 🎂 He turned 27 yesterday, making it a very special double birthday celebration for the Ward family!

Bill, thank you for trusting Georgia Roussos Catering to be part of so many special moments over the past 41 years. We are truly grateful for your friendship and continued support.
