Chicken was our worst category last year. But this year, Pleased to have maintained 3rd place in KCBS points in chicken for two weeks in a row, but with no contests currently planned to compete in, its downhill from here. So, just had to post this before it disappears. LOL.

We were knocked down a few notches by our poor results in Hammond LA. We had great products and thought everything taste...

We were knocked down a few notches by our poor results in Hammond LA.
We had great products and thought everything tasted and looked awesome, but the judges didn’t agree.
20th chicken
14th ribs
22nd pork
25th brisket
And 20th overall out of 48 awesome teams.
Congratulations to Iowa Smokey D’s on grand and Smoking Butt Heads on reserve, and all who heard their name called today.
