Wonderful fall weekend full of fall garden harvests, fence repairs, deworming, hoof trimming, and family time by the fire. We planted over 160 cloves of garlic and harvested our first crop of sweet potatoes! I’m certainly not an expert at getting them out of the ground 🤣🤣 just a great weekend full of laughs and plenty of dirt.

For 2025 I want to revisit projects that seemed beyond me first time around. So I pulled out my small circumference shortie sock needles and tried again. After a lot of fiddling and working on holding needles and yarn more loosely, I’ve finally got a working rhythm going! I started with a yarn that was too low contrast so I’ve now ripped back and changed for this beautiful blue moody sock yarn. Loving these by Zanete Knits. Such a fun addicting pattern! Falling in love with sock knitting - you can just see so much progress quickly since it’s such a small project. This Dutch heel construction looks interesting 😆 so maybe my story will change after I try it!
