The Chestnut Farm (Quinta de Castanhas) From the grower to you. Local California chestnuts. We begin harvest in mid-September and have chestnuts to sale beginning late September.

The Chestnut Farm is a small family owned operation. We pride ourselves on the quality and sweet flavor of our chestnuts. Chestnuts are harvested in mid-September. Prior to harvest, we spend hours preparing, pruning, thinning, mowing, nurturing and watching our trees. When it comes to harvest, this is a family affair. Everyone helps and there is a lot of work. Our family has been growing chestnuts in the Central Valley for over 40 years, and we’re so excited to share another harvest with you. Whether you roast them or bake with them, this season is all about bringing people together around real, farm-fresh flavor.

When we say ROOTED IN TRADITION, we honor the generations who taught with patience, the musicians who marched with pride, and the families who passed music down as a way of life.

When we say UNITED IN MUSIC, we carry forward what they began: gathering, playing, and celebrating together. Different cultures, instruments, and generations standing side by side, connected by sound.
