We’ll have the first of a few spring flower favorites tomorrow. Snapdragons, peonies, larkspur, and stock. The stock smell so sweet that I couldn’t keep my nose out of the bucket while arranging. So don’t let the rain get between you and flowers.

Also, here’s a picture of the freshly painted barn because I’m so excited about how good it looks.

It’s amazing what some rain can do! We’ll be deep in all of our bagged salad greens, along with the first butterhead of the season tomorrow at the first outdoor

We’ve been making blueberry rhubarb pies around here lately and we recommend that you do the same.

Make sure to come get in line for your lettuce before you go track down strawberries.

Frost is on it’s way! ❄️This could be our last week for flowers given the forecast. Come grab a bouquet at Broad Ripple and Hyde Park Farmers Market this weekend!

Join us for our farm tour Thursday, August 28th! The first tour will start at 5:30pm followed by a potluck supper with burgers from Brinkman’s Grass-fed Beef at 6:30pm. The second farm tour will start at approximately 7:30pm for those getting in later and The Earth Tones will be playing live music throughout the night.

Please feel free to bring a dish to share, perhaps including farm produce from markets or your CSA share, a camping chair or other seating option if available, and your love of learning and local agriculture. This event is free and open to the public, everyone is welcome so bring your friends! Donations for the burgers and tips for the musicians would also be greatly appreciated.

Mark your calendars for the Christopher Farm Party on August 28th! The first tour will start at 5:30 followed by music with our favorite Muncie band, the Earthtones, and potluck with burgers from Brinkman’s grassfed beef at 6:30, and a final tour at 7:30. We hope you’ll join us!

We’re looking for another full time person to help us finish out the season! This year’s group is fun, smart, enthusiastic, and has a considerable dose of elbow grease. This position can be live-in or commuting, and will help with the full gamut of late season production, from seeding to marketing and everything. in between.
