To Our Amafruits Family & Customers:

Out of an abundance of caution, we are notifying you of the voluntary recall notice issued by Totally Cool, Inc., a secondary facility used by Amafruits LLC. Totally Cool produced small batch runs of only two (2) products for Amafruits.

Totally Cool recently discovered a listeria concern in their ice cream cake production line and the FDA has asked them to issue a recall of all the ice cream they’ve manufactured this year.  Unfortunately, certain lot codes of our 3 Gal Organic Acai Sorbet & 3 Gal Dragon Fruit Sorbet are included in that recall.  While no listeria has been detected in our product, or any of the ice cream produced at Totally Cool, the FDA is requiring a full recall out of an abundance of caution.

If you have purchased any of the below lot numbers which will be stamped next to the best by date, do not consume it. We ask that you please contact us for further instructions. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

This recall only affects Açaí and Dragon Fruit Sorbets produced by Totally Cool Inc under the lot numbers printed above, and has no impact on the majority of Amafruits Acai & Dragon Fruit Sorbet / other sorbet flavors / or any other products in the Amafruits line. The majority of our Sorbets are produced and imported directly from our facility in Brazil, and therefore have not been impacted by this recall.
