Happy autumnal solstice/ fall 1st! 🍂✨️

Now i can shamelessly start posting pumpkins & fall projects 😂 i am an autumn girl at heart!

The sunflowers are giving their last hurrah for the season- i am hoping to get a handful for bouquets this weekend for Milwaukie Farmers Market but I will have other fresh & dried options as well.

I am also working on a candle re-stock, bringing back some fall favorites 🕯

What are you most excited for this autumn?

The sunflowers and lots of the annuals are winding down, but the heirloom chrysanthemums are just getting started 🏵

The mums are loaded with buds which should start blooming between October-November (depending on the variety) as everything else is just finishing up. I have added a few new varieties this year and can't wait to see them in action ✨️

Supporting local flower growers really means enjoying the seasons as nature intended- no sunflowers in April or peonies in August, just fresh, fragrant, seasonal blooms from down the road 💐

To be honest, zinnias are not my favorite flower, but these benary's giant lime may just change my mind 😍 it is so hard to find true green flowers- and these ones fit the bill! They look amazing in summer & autumn arrangements and with all color schemes.

Are you a fan of green flowers? 💚

I dont know what it is this week, but i have been drained 😮‍💨 anyone else feeling it? Maybe its the neverending to-do list of late summer tasks, or the shifting of the seasons, or just pure burnout 😂 but i have been feeling the draw to focus more on fun, creative projects than outdoor tasks. Call it proscrastination (w**ds aren't gonna w**d themselves am i right) but I'm enjoying this short little detour. There are only a few more weeks in the growing season and I think it's exactly what I need to motivate myself for the final push.

Next week I'll be back to planting out more hardy annuals and prepping raised beds for seeds, and of course w**ding 🌱

Here are some of my creations that sold before I had a chance to share them on here. Thank you for everyone who has supported me and my art 💛

More framed botanicals in the works 🦋

The weather is shifting to more autumn-like temps, we had some drizzle today, so I took a bit of a break from outdoor work (planting, w**ding, harvesting) to craft indoors. When more summery weather returns later this week, I will get back to the outdoor tasks, but it is a nice reminder to slow down & enjoy the creative process 💚
